Who is responsible?
This policy applies to the Mijn Momentje Android app and the website mijnmomentje.nl. The controller is Silvester van Nooij, an independent developer based in the Netherlands. Questions can be sent to contact@mijnmomentje.nl.

What data does the app process?
Mijn Momentje does not ask for a name, email address, account or sign-in. The app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking software, subscriptions, or third-party advertising SDKs. It has no internet permission and therefore does not send app data to the developer or an owned server.

Local storage and deletion
Drawings, colouring pages, selected photos, favourite colours, settings, earned stars and recorded play time are stored only on the Android device. They are used to provide the features selected in the app.
A parent or guardian can delete saved drawings and reset the star count in the protected parent area. Other local app data is removed when the app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled. If Android backup is enabled on the device, Android may include some local settings in a device or account backup. The developer does not receive or have access to that backup.

Photos and printing
The camera feature starts only after the user deliberately chooses it. The Android camera app takes the photo; Mijn Momentje processes the returned image locally as a drawing background. The app does not upload the photo.
Printing occurs only after a deliberate action through Android’s print system. The selected printer app or print service may process the chosen drawing under its own privacy policy. Google also processes data outside Mijn Momentje for the Play Store, installation and updates. See the Google Privacy Policy.

Children’s privacy
The app is intended for children aged 4–8 and is designed around data minimisation. Children are not asked to provide personal data and cannot create an account or contact the developer from within the app. Parents and guardians should send any privacy questions themselves.

Website and email
Mijnmomentje.nl has no account, contact form, advertising, or analytics and marketing cookies placed by us. OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare process necessary technical data, such as IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time, to deliver and secure the website. Our legal basis is the legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and available. We do not use this information to profile visitors or show ads.
If you email us, you provide an email address and message content, and possibly a name. Cloudflare Email Routing forwards this information to Gmail. It is used only to answer the question, handle related follow-up and, where necessary, comply with a legal obligation. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing support; a legal obligation may apply to a statutory request.
Read the privacy policies of Cloudflare, OpenAI and Google for more information. These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in their policies.
External links, such as Google Play and LinkedIn, take you away from this website. The external service’s privacy policy then applies.

Sharing and retention
The app does not sell or share personal data and stores no app data on a server. Local data remains on the device until a parent or guardian deletes it, clears the app data or uninstalls the app.
We retain email correspondence until the question has been resolved and for as long as reasonably necessary for related follow-up or a legal obligation. Correspondence that is no longer needed is deleted periodically. Technical website data is kept no longer than necessary for delivery, security and abuse prevention, under the retention rules of the relevant service providers.

Your privacy rights
Because the app has no central user database, the developer cannot view or delete local app data on your behalf. This can only be done on the device. For personal data in email correspondence, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. We may request information to verify your identity.

Changes and contact
This policy describes the current version of Mijn Momentje. If a future feature changes the way data is processed, we will update this policy before that processing starts where required. The date at the top shows when this text was last changed.
