A child’s attention and data are not a product.

Many free children’s apps are funded through advertising, purchases or data collection. This exposes children to distractions and commercial choices they never asked for.

Mijn Momentje comes from a different belief: children should be able to draw and play digitally without their attention or data becoming the product. That is why the app is free, ad-free and has no tracking.

About the maker

A small initiative with a social purpose.

I noticed how hard it was to find a children’s app that was simply calm and enjoyable, with no ads, locked features or requests for personal data. So I started building Mijn Momentje myself.

Not as a business or sales project, but as a practical alternative for children around me and for every family that makes conscious choices about screen time.

Every screen was conceived, made and tested in my spare time. That independence makes one clear boundary possible: the app stays free and collects nothing.
